Why Liftman

Our Team

Liftman Insurance is built around a small, senior team of licensed brokers and in-house underwriters β€” not a call center. From Chairman Ted Liftman, who founded the firm in 1957, to the underwriters who manage bonds and claims day to day, every member of the Liftman team specializes in coverage for investment advisors, mutual funds, hedge funds, and broker-dealers.
Because our team is small by design, clients work directly with the people who understand their account β€” not a rotating queue of unfamiliar representatives.
